Prescription costs as of April 1 2021
The current prescription charge is £9.35 per item.
A prescription prepayment certificate (PPC) could save you money on NHS prescription costs:
- a 3-month PPC costs £30.25 – This saves you money if you need four or more items in three months.
- a 12-month PPC is £108.10 – This saves you money if 15 or more items are needed in 12 months.
